In the world of News, Disney's new Reservation booking system for dining, tours and recreation will go live in late October. This will only be available to Travel Agents at first but will at a later date go live for travelers to call. You can now book dining through January 29th 2009. In October things will go back to the normal 80 day advance rule.

Speaking of News in Dining, In fall 2008, your Clients will enter a world of prehistoric creatures at T-Rex: A Prehistoric Family Adventure. The dinosaur-themed family eatery will serve up pizzas, pastas, seafood and more, and will feature life-size animated dinosaurs that dwell among bubbling geysers, waterfalls and a fossil dig site. This restaurant will be part of the huge makeover going on at Downtown Disney.

And in news of DTD: The Nightclubs will all be closing for good by September 28th. At this point the "Waterparks and More" option of tickets will no longer include Pleasure Island.

And lets not forget DisneyLand!
DisneyLand is preparing to reopen Sleeping Beauty's Castle to the Public! The interior of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland® Resort will open in time for the December holiday season, offering a “reawakened” version of its classic walkthrough presentation kissed with vibrant scenes of Aurora, her charming prince, the evil Maleficent and other characters from the beloved fairy tale film. Guest who are unable to climb stairs will have a special "virtual" tour in a special ground room of the castle.

A new feature at the DisneyLand Hotel allows guests to choose from 19 specially themed rooms that adjoin to a standard room. These special rooms are decorated with a unique motif, either Mickey or Princess and feature 2 twin beds. These "Character Rooms" are only available when booking the adjoining room and is an excellent option for families traveling with small children.

Also New this year is a New Dining Option!

The Magic Your Way Package Plus Quick Service Dining includes Disney Resort accommodations, a Magic Your Way Base Ticket and a Disney Quick Service Dining Plan that offers 2 Quick Service meals, 2 Snacks (select dining locations) per person per night of the package stay, plus 1 Resort Refillable Drink Mug per person, per package. With this package, guests can save up to 20% per adult on dining.

The Regular Magic Your Way Plus Dining is still available (1 Table, 1 Quick, 1 Snack).

There is also the Magic Your Way Deluxe Dining. This plan gets you 3 meals a day at your choice of table or quick service, you get 2 snacks AND the refillable mug.

Hope these are all interesting to you. Please let me know what information you would like to see as part of this community.
